While on earth in the body, ten percent of the daily conversations of Jesus consisted of Old Testament words, quoted literally. His use of it and reliance upon it in daily life exemplifies how those who follow Him will benefit from having the Scripture memorized. As it is said, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
